Kevin Regan has several techniques he works in. The glass he has for sale online is separated into the categories above, based on different techniques as well as different designs. Blown glass is fairly self-explanatory. The blown pieces are made in his gallery by the artist and assistants. The blown, then carved, glass is quite unique. Few artists today are able to create anything like it. Cameo glass is the more commonly used name for it: Regan takes a vase he blew with multiple different colored layers, and masks it with a resistant material in a design created he created. Then he sand blasts it to reveal the layers beneath. The process can be repeated for a very deeply carved effect. The result is also quite strikingly beautiful. He learned the technique of cameo glass making from Kelsey Murphy, one of the only other cameo glass artists currently producing today. The roses and paperweights are also self explanatory.
